My parents, Ken and Grace Ayres started this family business from the ground up. I remember playing dolls in the backroom of the warehouse for hours on end and when I got older doing everything from delivering sale flyers around town on my bike to selling furniture on the sales floor. I am not afraid of hard work. It's all I have ever known. But I love shopping and fashion and spilling the tea with my girlfriends over a good glass of wine or binge watching The Real Housewives. I am happy in my life- but Ahh, to not have to worry about money. That would be the life!!!

Hi, I’m Ken. Life’s had its ups and downs, and I’m a widower who still holds my late wife Grace, God Rest her soul,  close in my heart every day. Family means everything to me, and I take pride in being the kind of man they can count on—whether it’s the time I doggy paddeled while saving a burned up navy seaman from the wreckage of the USS Indianapolis, fighting off vicious great white sharks in the dead of the night or making a a strong oak table.
